With Personal Training, you'll receive a personalised program, dedicated support and guidance to keep you motivated and accountable as you progress through your fitness journey.

With the support that personal training provides it is the ideal solution for overcoming obstacles and gaining confidence in the gym.

Through personalised training, you'll gain invaluable knowledge on how to move your body safely and effectively, establishing a strong foundation of optimal technique.

WHAT might a session look like?

Typically Personal Training sessions will be a combination of the following components.

**Each programme is targeted to your needs, as such this structure will vary and be very much dependant on your individual requirements.


MOBILITY / WARM UP
Often using Pilates exercises to activate the muscles and prepare the body for the session ahead.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Lifting weights to build strength and muscle.
Working with compound lifts (Squat, Deadlifts etc) and accessories to create muscular strength, control & balance.

CARDIO CONDITIONING
Working to improve the bodies general fitness and aerobic capacity. This may involve using equipment such as a rowing machine or Ski-erg.

LONGEVITY Exercises
Pilates inspired exercises to improve the bodies Balance, Stability & Core ‘future proofing’ it by creating a strong foundation.

FLEXIBILITY AND MOBILITY
Stretching to support recovery, reduce risk of injury and promote a good range of movement.

A mobile personal training service is also available (within the portsmouth area) for clients who prefer to exercise from the comfort of their own home.
